This iconic artotel is positioned within the heart of berlin s historic centre and features artwork from one of Germanys most prestigious and renowned contemporary artists, Georg Baselitz. The hotel features 109 modern and well equipped guest rooms, including distinctive art suites, designed to provide guests with a relaxing stay in Berlin. The restaurant is located in the historic Ermelerhaus of the hotel, a Rococo building with high ceilings, a glass roofed courtyard and an open art lounge. artotel features seven meeting rooms, including the beautiful Ermelerhaus, which features four banquet rooms and adds distinction and charm to any event. Renovated in April 2016, art'otel berlin mitte is close to the Alexanderplatz, Gendarmenmarkt, Friedrichstrasse and the lively Hackescher Markt. The Brandenburg Gate and the city’s old town are nearby, as are the museums on the Museumsinsel and the Tiergarten. Our dedicated art exhibition comprises over 300 original paintings and charcoal prints by our signature artist Georg Baselitz. Our 109 beautiful guestrooms are contemporary and stylish and we serve trendy fine dining in our restaurant 'Upside Down'. Suites do not have a separate living room.
