Coming from the Airport Salzburg you drive on the A1 in direction Innsbruck/Munich - exit to the A10 (Tauernautobahn) in direction Graz/Villach. Take the motorway exit Golling in direction Abtenau. B 159 and further on the B 162 which goes up to the B 166. At St.Agatha you change onto the B 145 (Salzkammergut Bundesstrasse) and stay on this road until you reach Altaussee/Lichtersberg.
You arrive the airport Salzburg and take the train to Bad Ischl. Afterwards you take the bus or taxi for about another half hour to Bad Aussee.
