The Riverside Hotel is located on the southwest side of Burton on Trent. This is best reached via the A38, which runs between Derby & Birmingham. FROM DERBY: Take the A38 southbound, past the Toyota factory & on to Burton. DO NOT take the first exit to Burton on Trent north but continue to the next exit, sign posted Burton on Trent & Branston. Take exit & turn left at the island, then right at the next island. Follow the road for a maximum of 1 mile then turn right, (it is the third turn after the island) just over the brow of the railway bridge. Take the 2nd left into Riverside Drive, which leads to the hotel. FROM BIRMINGHAM: Take A38 northbound past Lichfield & Barton-Under-Needwood, & turn off at the 1st Burton on Trent exit. Turn right at island, then right again at the next island. Follow the road for a maximum of 1 mile then turn right, (it is the third turn after the island) just over the brow of the railway bridge. Take the 2nd left into Riverside Drive, which leads to the hotel.FROM A50 (Links from M6 & M1): Follow the A50 to Junction 4, sign posted Burton on Trent (You will see a power station on the left hand side), at exit proceed to the island, at island take 2nd left exit marked Burton. You are now proceeding from southbound on the A38. Follow directions as from Derby.FROM M42: Leave at Junction 11 & join the A444 sign posted Burton on Trent. Keep on this road until it has passed over the river Trent with a Tesco store at the end. At the roundabout at the end of this bridge turn left towards Branston. Follow this road for approximately 2 miles, under a small bridge & over a small island. You will see the road rise over a small bridge just as you enter a 30-mph zone. Turn left into Warren Lane, then 2nd left into Riverside Drive.

-Property description-, fully refurbished in june 2016 the riverside hotel, has benefited from a major refurbishment with, stylish new look bedrooms and bathrooms a, redesigned bar and restaurant area and meeting, facilities which will delight both business guests, and those celebrating a major event. Originally a, timber-framed farmhouse built in 1851 and situated, on the banks of the river trent the riverside, still features some of its authentically charming, characteristics to this day. The 23-bedroom hotel, has its own private island fishing rights and, mooring for guests to use at their leisure.
