Surrounded by meadows and forests, the Konradshof is an ideal starting point for numerous leisure activities. Excellent hiking and biking tours in summer and wonderful sunny cross-country ski trails or a snowshoe hike in winter turn a holiday in the northern Black Forest into a sporting experience. In addition, senior boss Karl Sackmann and his son Florian, both hunters and foresters, are happy to take interested guests hunting. Places worth seeing such as the nearby Nagold reservoir, Freudenstadt with the largest market square in the Black Forest and many pretty villages with half-timbered houses are all just a day trip away from Hotel Konradshof.

The Hotel Konradshof is situated on an idyllic high plateau in the northern Black Forest, 800 metres above sea level, in the middle of the Black Forest Central/North Nature Park, the largest nature park in Germany. The 18 rooms, all with balconies and views of the countryside, are spacious and cosily furnished. The highlight of the hotel is the small, exquisite wellness area with two log cabins by a natural swimming pond. A dip in the cool water is wonderful after a sauna session or after a hiking or biking tour. The Sackmann family spoil their guests with hearty regional specialities, game dishes from their own hunt as well as homemade cakes and tarts - in summer on the cosy garden terrace with beer garden, in winter in the restaurant with open fire.
