From Dillon you can see the Ten Mile Range, Gore Range, the Continental Divide and the Mountains of Keystone Resort. Just minutes away from this centrally located town, are Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Loveland, Vail and Beaver Creek Mountain Resorts. These world-renowned areas offer skiing in winter, golf in the summer and many activities and events. Additional winter activities include nearby cross-country skiing, sleigh rides, ice skating, sledding and tubing. In the summer in Dillon you can hop right on the bike path and ride all around the lake, to Keystone, to Breckenridge and even to Vail. Summer activities include golf, white water rafting, fly fishing, sailing, motor boating, biking, hiking, horseback rides, chairlift rides and more. Dillon boasts two incredible parks with playgrounds. One is on Lake Dillon and the other in the heart of the town. Basketball, a ball field and tennis courts are available for use. Both parks have barbecue and picnic facilities and are frequently used for Weddings and Family Reunions. Summer events such as the Farmers Market, Nature Night, barbecue challenge and July 4th celebrations enhance the beautiful summer weather.
