The Hotel Bänklialp is situated in an elevated position on the edge of the forest, just 500 metres from the charming village centre of the monastery village of Engelberg and the railway station. The valley station of the Titlis mountain railway is also within easy reach, around 800 metres from the hotel and can be easily reached on foot. The ski areas are therefore easy to reach in the winter months. Guests also have access to the 38 kilometre-long Engelberg cross-country ski trail network directly below the hotel. Bike enthusiasts particularly appreciate the fact that the Trail Arena Engelberg, located in the neighbouring mountain forest, is directly connected to the hotel grounds. This is a sporting highlight for guests in the warmer seasons.

Hotel Description
Built in typical Swiss chalet style, the Hotel Bänklialp offers its guests cosy rooms and its peaceful location makes it a relaxing retreat after an active day in the mountains. Guests enjoy the idyllic atmosphere and the view of the beautiful mountain landscape, the village of Engelberg and the neighbouring forest. Most of the room categories also offer balconies, where the panoramic views are even better. An eventful day in the Swiss Alps at the Hotel Bänklialp always begins with an appealing breakfast buffet featuring regional products.
Special features of the hotel
Covered parking spaces in front of the hotel are available subject to availability (CHF 10.00 per night). Advance reservations are not possible. For skiing enthusiasts and winter hikers, the Bänklialp offers a free shuttle service to the Titlis mountain railway valley station in winter – available from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. in winter and from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on request. Our sauna and hot tub are only available for use with prior reservation and are charged at CHF 20 per hour. Other guests are not permitted to use the area during this time. Pets are not allowed in the breakfast room. Separate conditions may apply for bookings of 5 or more rooms. Reception hours: December 18 to May 31: 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. June 1 to December 17: 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
