Hotel Description

Situated in the very heart of historic Salisbury, the hotel lies within easy reach of some of the foremost treasures of Southern England. Our hotel has recently undergone a change of ownership. We have undertaken renovations to the property that are designed to improve our guests experience, and also to retain the timeless beauty and character of this 13th Century building. We have 17 bedrooms ensuring a personal and attentive service. All our rooms are ensuite, some with a shower only but most have a bath with shower over. We have been very careful to retain the history and charm of this hotel, and our efforts are to provide the best facilities possible whilst staying in keeping with the age and character of the building.

Special features of the hotel

The stone for the Salisbury Cathedral, a mere five minute walk away, was cut in what is now the restaurant, making the hotel’s initial construction almost 800 years old. Some of the original stone and ironwork is still left exposed inside the property. Try the restaurant downstairs for amazing steaks and grills!
