Bad Suderode lies on the edge of the Harz and is a district of the UNESCO World Heritage town of Quedlinburg. Quedlinburg's old town, with its half-timbered houses, is about 7 kilometres away and easy to reach by car or bus. The house is a good base for hiking and cycling in the Harz, for example on the Selketalstieg, along the Teufelsmauer or up to the Brocken. If you like, you can collect stamps of the Harzer Wandernadel along the way. With the Hatix card, included in the visitor's tax, guests travel free by bus and train in the region. Restaurants are within walking distance.
Haus Liva is a newly renovated guest house belonging to Le petit Palais. Bright rooms, warm colours and a modern, uncomplicated interior shape the atmosphere. Art on the walls and individual details give the rooms a friendly, personal character. Good beds and calm, uncluttered furnishings make the house a pleasant place to unwind after a day in the Harz.
Reception and breakfast take place at the main house, Le petit Palais, about 350 metres away. In this way Haus Liva combines the calm of a small guest house with the personal service and fresh breakfast buffet of the main house. For arrivals after 6 pm, a self-service check-in via a key safe is possible, so guests can arrive independently of fixed arrival times. Breakfast is available from 7 am on request. Each room comes with a free parking space behind the house. Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and the service is multilingual (German, Dutch, Spanish, English). On request we prepare a packed lunch to take with you.
