An historic inn, The Ship's Knees is located in the fabulous beachside community of East Orleans, MA. This former sea captain's cape style home was built in 1820 and while it exemplifies the quiet Yankee tradition of old Cape Cod, it has been lovingly renovated to provide your visit with a modern concept of comfort. You will be located on a 2 plus acre site that offers its guests the serenity of a residential location as well as an enviable access one quarter mile down the bottom of the hill to one of the east coast's most outstanding beaches, Nauset Beach. Rooms are individually decorated in a distinctive nautical style with warm colonial color schemes, a combination of antiques, and a feel of relaxed, casual elegance. Several rooms feature authentic ship's knees, ocean views, and working fireplaces. The well manicured grounds include an in ground pool, a tennis court, patios, and views of the Atlantic Ocean.
