Keine 10 Minuten vom Bahnhof und Dom entfernt. Die Zimmer sind schlicht, aber dennoch gemütlich. Mir hat es gefallen. :-) Ich mag den Andachtsraum.
Die Hotellobby hat den Charme eines Landschulheims. Während Tagungen dürfen nur Tagungsteilnehmer im Restaurant speisen, die normalen Hotelgäste haben dann leider keinen Zutritt zum Restaurant.

The Maternushaus is a hotel and conference centre with valuable furnishings belonging to the Archdiocese of Cologne. The well-maintained rooms, which are equipped with elegant furnishings, guarantee a pleasant stay. In the airy breakfast restaurant with a large light dome and floor-length windows you can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning. As part of a meeting or a congress, guests are spoilt with light, refined dishes in the restaurant.
++++Attention: The city of Köln charges an overnight stay tax of 5% on the room accommodation rate from 01.12.2014, which needs to be paid by the guests.
