M-way exit Karlsruhe-Durlach, keep heading for the town centre. After approx. 2.5 km there is a sign on the right -Schloßplatzgarage-, follow the signs. Either park straight away in this garage or keep following the signs for the hotel. Guests are allowed to drive up to the hotel and unload their cars (pedestrian zone).
The following tramlines will take you from the central station to the market square (Kaiserstraße): S1, S11, S51, 4. In addition there will drive an autobus from the mainstation tot he Ettlinger Tor (distance to our hotel 5 min.)

Position
The desk of the suppose business room (paid a premium) was to small and no chair. Only a very uncomfortable small footrest like thing.
I was waken up at 6 am by very high pitched noise from the heating system. I asked for help but nothing could be done. The noise stopped at 06:30 and started again at 07:30. I left the room asap because of the unbearable noise.
The Hotel Am Markt in Karlsruhe offers its guests a friendly and personal atmosphere. The spacious and modern rooms are well equipped with bath/shower, WC, telephone and wireless internet connection. Guests can relish a rich breakfast while enjoying the views over Marktplatz square and the Castle of Karlsruhe.
W-lan access is free of charge in all rooms and in the wintergarden ( during summer on the top terrace). Free daily paper. From the cafe you can observe urban live on the market place.
