Hotel located in the Monastery of San Francisco whose origins date back to 1214. It is situated in the historic heart of Santiago de Compostela 150 meters away from the Cathedral. This XVIII century building was named Site of cultural interest BIC by UNESCO and it reopened since 2005 after being reformed. It perfectly combines original architectural elements with up-to-date shapes and materials. This combination makes this hotel a unique one in the city full of functionality design and history. Face Masks Are Compulsory Guests must wear face masks when entering the hotel and in all the common areas except when seated in the Breakfast Buffet area restaurant and cafe or on the terrace. All staff must wear masks throughout their work day. Your Room We intensify disinfecting and airing of the room during cleaning. To increase your safety we have removed decorative bedspreads rugs cushions stationery amenities in cardboard boxes -except gel shampoo and hand soap minibar items -disinfected bottles of water will be left on the desk bins -there will only be a pedal bin in the toilet and all blankets and pillows in the wardrobe will be sealed. New More Spacious Areas Thanks to the size of the convent spacious areas are available and for this reason we have transferred the Breakfast Buffet to the Monumental Dining Room -former refectory from 1730 our banquet hall covering nearly 300 m2. The restaurant service -lunch and dinner will also be provided in this unique space. The cafe service is available in the Fountain Cloister to gain space and have direct access to the outdoor gardens where guests can enjoy the terrace service. Pool You can exclusively enjoy our covered heated pool. Book your 30-minute slot -daily quota at Reception where we will activate an access card and provide you with towels. Please be punctual. Grounds You can take a walk and enjoy exclusive views of the spires of the Cathedral and the Church of Saint Francis from the convent grounds which have more than 30000 m2 of gardens. Our Services The buffet service will be attended by our staff and protective screens have been put in place. We will maintain the same quality and products as always. We have divided the service into four time slots to guarantee the best service and spaces between tables and people reduce waiting times and comply with disinfection processes.
