All Directions: (N) The M4 freeway is the main westerly arterial route that will take you to the base of the Blue Mountains. The M4 becomes the Great Western Highway at the base of the Mountains. Follow the Great Western Highway for about 60 Kilometers until you reach Katoomba. Turn left at the second set of traffic lights which takes you over a small railway bridge (sign posted for Echo Point). Turn left at the roundabout into "Main Street". Take the first right into "Katoomba Street", the main business street of Katoomba (opposite entrance to Railway Station). Katoomba Street is a long straight road that turns sharp left about one kilometer from the town centre, Katoomba Street becomes Lilianfels Avenue at this point.
