Dear Guests Order to protect the public from the dangers of secondhand smoke, according to the “The Shanghai on Smoking Controlling in Public Places” and “The Implementing Rules for the Public Health Regulations” of provisions ,NO SMOKING in hotel Shanghai all indoor areas. If you want to smoke to the designated smoking outside the hotel and please, consult the hotel staff according to the boot logo to live. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding! Ascott Huai hai Road Shanghai have 306 suites, free Broadband internet access,Fully-equipped kitchen,Home entertainment system,Washing machine & dryer Value-added tax (VAT) will be implemented in China with effect from May 1 2016. Should VAT be administered during time of stay, guest will be liable to the payment of VAT rates applied to room and miscellaneous charges. The Front Office is required by the local public security bureau to ensure: 1.All Chinese nationals provide a Chinese ID card on check in and foreigners a valid passport. Failure to do will require a visit to the local public security office to process registration prior to check in. 2.All guest and visitors will be photographed and scanned into the public security bureau system at the Front Office. Please be informed that the Swimming Pool & Tennis Court are temporarily closed for an upgrade to the area and is scheduled to start from 26th November 2018 to be completed by 10th February 2019. This is part of our commitment to ensure that all our facilities and services are of the highest standards. We apologize for any inconvenience that you may experience and thank you for your patience during this time. In the interim we have arranged for an alternative venue where guest can enjoy pool & tennis usage from 7am to 7pm daily. The Ascott Hai Road will also provide transfers to and from each venue with 2 or 3 days prior arrangements that can be made at the Front Desk at level 1.
