Val Gardena can be reached using the Brenner motorway (A22). From the north via Innsbruck-Brenner-Chiusa, from south, follow Verona-Trento-Bolzano. The cheapest exit Chiusa / Val Gardena. Trains run to the well-marked roads after about 20 minutes Ortisei and a few kilometers further Santa Cristina and Selva Gardena. The end of the valley and the famous mountain passes are only a few minutes drive away. In Val Gardena there can also live well without a car, because the lifts depart directly from the places and also a very convenient bus service.
