The restaurant is superb and the bar area, with open fire, is very friendly and comfortable.

Previously when I have stayed here I have had a room in the coach-house at the back of the building. This time I had a room in the main building for the first time. Unfortunately there is a lot of traffic noise from the adjacent road and the single-glazed windows (in room 3) do not do much to prevent this. The single bed in the twin room is quite small. I will definitely go back, but I'll be asking for a double room again in future.
