The Pied Bull Hotel is situated within the walls of the historic Roman city of Chester. Reputed to be the oldest licensed house in Chester, the pub dates from 1155 and today the interior reflects its distinctive heritage and haunted past. The Inn also houses an original handmade staircase dating from 1533.

Positive very old building (this is the point for tourists), B&B for £50, probably more during the tourist season. Excellent gammon and chips. Earplugs are provided, wifi worked well Negative some confusion over car parking, check before arrival.
