With a long hotel tradition, dating since 1960 the Maison Rouge combines authenticity and homely service. Both words are of great importance and essential for welcoming a client. The hotels exceptional situation in the small town of Barr allows you to explore the town and its surrounding areas without any difficulty, shops and local facilities are nearby. Surrounded by greenery, with a beautiful terrace looking onto a pedestrian street, the hotel has been totally renovated. Each room given a personal style and all provide a pleasant view over the picturesque town or the nearby Kirchberg vineyards. The renovation of the restaurant renovation was entrusted to a renowned alsacian humorist-artist, on the famous theme of Hans im Schnogeloch. Here you can taste a lot of Alsatian specialities such as, Baeckeoffe, Sander fish in riesling, veal kidneys flambeed or the very famous tarte flambée known to be much appreciated by the tourists. The bar d'ambiance with it's warm and cheerful atmsophere will help you to relax and maybe tempt you to taste one of a wonderful choice of 60 beers or a wide variety of cocktails.
