The Parador can be reached from the Santander-Comillas road by taking a cobbled street for about 100 meters. Then turn right and immediately after that, left. You will see the square where the Parador is located on your right. Santillana is 24 km from Santander.

The Hotel is in the mansion of the Barreda-Bracho family, in the square of Santillana del Mar, a town declared a National Monument, whose origins go back to the 7th century. The bedrooms are comfortable and in harmony with the overall look of the hotel.

In the restaurant El Jardín de Gil Blas we base our gastronomic offer on traditional Cantabrian cuisine. We recommend that you try the Cocido montañés, that you enjoy grilled beef tenderloin with vegetables and potato pie, the Suprema de turballo and an excellent tasting of Cantabrian cheeses, and to sweeten your experience try our homemade desserts such as Santa Juliana cake, the dessert of the grandmother or the torrija pasiega.
