the north or south arriving between 11pm and 8am:: Check-in is at the Marriott Welcome Center (1044 William Hilton Parkway) /// Take Interstate 95 to exit 8 for Highway 278 and proceed east over the main Hilton Head Island bridge spanning the Intracoastal Waterway onto the island * Continue on Highway 278 to the four mile marker and take either the Cross Island Expressway (1.00USD toll) or stay on Highway 278 // If you take the Cross Island Expressway you will be on Palmetto Bay Road * Move to the left lane as you near the Sea Pines Circle and turn left into Dunnagans Alley - the last road before the traffic circle with a BP gas station on the corner * From Dunnagans Alley take the second right into the Welcome Center // If you stay on Highway 278 continue to the eleven mile marker * Move to the right lane as you pass the last traffic light (Arrow Road) * The Welcome Center is the first driveway after the Hardee's restaurant and just before the Sea Pines Circle ## the north or south arriving between 8am and 11pm:: Check-in is at the resort // Take Interstate 95 to exit 8 for Highway 278 and proceed east on Highway 278 over the main Hilton Head Island bridge spanning the Intracoastal Waterway onto the island * Proceed 2.1 miles to the division of Highway 278 * Stay in the right lanes and follow signs for Business 278 East-William Hilton Parkway * Continue 6.2 miles to the main intersection for Shelter Cove Harbour passing both the Plaza at Shelter Cove and the Mall at Shelter Cove * Turn right at the traffic light then take an immediate left onto Shelter Cove Lane (there is no street sign) * Follow Shelter Cove Lane for 6/10 of a mile to the resort entrance on the left (Shelter Cove Lane ends at the Harbour Master restaurant one block past the resort)
