Hôtel Mercure Antibes Sophia Antipolis

Bed is very soft and comfortable.
Restaurant is good for dinner.

This was my 3rd time coming here for work and I always get a really old room, not refurbished. It has a very old bathroom and old toilet. Also please consider removing the carpet throughout the whole room. As this is impossible to clean after every guest, I do not feel like it is hygienic.

The first evening there was the airco boosting through the hallway of my floor. It made an overwhelming noise and blew cold air... As this was 2 doors down next to my room I was not able to sleep due to the noise. I went to the reception to complain and she asked around and considered moving me to another room but this is not OK. It was handled and noise was turned off but during the early morning it started again, waking me up at 5AM. I don't understand how this was not handled before the evening came.
I really don't want to book this hotel again next time I need to come to Valbonne for work. I will look for another hotel. There is always something and prices are quite high but not worth it.
