A Neighborhood fueled by passions. The fictional passion between Romeo and Juliet draws thousands to Verona every year, but it's the very real loves and obsessions of the city's residents past and present that make our neighborhood so special. At the heart of this neighborhood is Hotel Indigo Verona which was built in the 1920's at the request of a noble Austrian family, the Reichenbach. You can dive into our district's rich past the moment you step out onto Corso Porta Nuova, largely thanks to architect Michele Sanmichell, whose statue sits opposite the Hotel Indigo – Verona. You will recognise results of Verona's Roman heritage with distinctive 16th-century Italian craftsmanship throughout the design of our boutique hotel rooms and bar. Our facilities are up to date, with flat screen tv's, invigorating rainfall showers, luxurious toiletries, and complimentary WIFI to make your stay a very special one.
