Nor should you miss walking through La Orotava, admiring all the stately mansions, hermitages and churches. On the north coast, and after crossing extensive banana plantations, we reach the Los Gigantes cliffs and Punta de Teno. One of the wildest and most beautiful beaches on the island is Benijo Beach, with its black sand and ancient volcanic vents.
