Annaberg-Buchholz as the centre of the region with short distances to the winter sports centres around Fichtelberg and Keilberg (Klinovec). A good starting point for visits to Karlovy Vary, Freiberg (Technical University Mining Academy), the Greifensteine natural stone stage, show mines and excursions on historic steam trains.

BAB 72, exit Stollberg West, B 169, continue on the S 258 to the Scheibenberg roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the B101 to Annaberg-Buchholz, OT Buchholz. From Talstraße turn right at the petrol station Am Haltepunkt and after the tracks turn left into Hans-Hesse-Straße. After approx. 200 metres you will reach the hotel.
Take the Erzgebirgsbahn (regional train 80) from Chemnitz main station in the direction of Cranzahl to the stop Annaberg-Buchholz Mitte. Walk in the opposite direction to the railway crossing, cross the tracks and walk up the road on the left for approx. 200 metres to the hotel.
