Hotel Description

Our pension is a place where you can rest and relax after a day full of exploring Malacky and its surroundings. The bright and modernly furnished rooms are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Without the accommodation, we offer a menu with variations of traditional Slovak cuisine, including some modern touches. All our dishes are prepared from fresh ingredients, carefully served and individually designed to shine impressively on your plate. The menu offers various alternatives for starters, main courses and desserts. We focus on a wide variety of meat dishes, but on the taste of course, vegetarians and children will also come. Our menu also consists of specially prepared steaks, which you can only taste here in Malacky.

Special features of the hotel

Pension is located in a building that proudly carries more than 120 years. The first written mention of pension dates from 1900. The building belonged to Karol and Mária Konečný. No one knows for sure whether it was still used as a bar, or if it was only used as a family home. However, the later name of the tavern, which they called U koňa, was derived from their name. After 1948, hard times came for business owners. They also affected the owners of this property. The communists stopped at nothing and simply nationalized their bar. After 1989, the building returned to the personal ownership of the descendants of the original owners. However, Milan Hájek, who was the husband of one of the Konečnýs' daughters, did not make any changes to the building and left it in its original state.
