Adamsons Riverside sits thirty metres from the riverbank at the river entrance to Margaret River town. The lower end of town, with its restaurants, the Margaret River Bakery, Two Cracks Coffee, Temper Temper Fine Chocolate, Red Sea Gallery and the Sons and Daughters cellar door, is under a minute's walk, and the main street is two minutes further up the hill. The other way leads to the Old Settlement Museum, the Hairy Marron bike hire and café, and the walking and mountain-bike trails of Wooditjup National Park. Pacific Black Ducks and Wood Ducks come up from the river into the front gardens, where guests join the 4pm duck feeding from early spring to late autumn. Adamsons also hosts Duckhouse Sessions, live-music afternoons with musicians from the region, Perth and abroad. Unpretentious cottage-style rooms and self-contained apartments, each with its own courtyard or balcony, set around a covered communal courtyard with a BBQ.
