You can also have a drink in the superb drawing room, with stained-glass windows and a log fire. The award-winning Langley Castle was built in 1350, during the reign of Edward III. It has 7-foot thick walls, and far-reaching views over the Northumbrian Valley. Wi-Fi is free throughout the building, and parking is free on site. Langley Castle is perfect for discovering Hadrian’s Wall, just 5 miles from the building. Newcastle city center can be reached in less than 40 minutes’ drive. We take a damage deposit of £10.00 on arrival, which is deducted from there final balance, however if any damage has been caused in the room. Charges will apply
