It was originally built as the reception hall of a coal baron, and the 130-year-old Japanese garden looks as beautiful today as it ever did. The hotel is located about 8 minutes on foot from the south exit of JR Kokura Station, and about 2 minute on foot from the Kitakyushu Monorail Tanga Station. At 40 minutes by car from Kitakyushu Airport, it has easy access from Honshu (main island), and is a convenient hub, whether your are visiting for business or sightseeing.
