The Cien Hotel (Xi'an Cien Kezhan) is a deluxe business hotel located near Xidian University and one of Xi'an's best-known attractions, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and it's neighboring water fountain show. While a little out of town, the surroundings are pleasant and the Old City Walls only about 2 km (1.3 mi) away.   Designed in a Tang architectural style the Cien Hotel features grey brick corridors, flying eaves, red pillars and lots of carved wooden furniture. Rooms and suites are all well-appointed and equipped with satellite TVs, international direct dial phones, mini bars, air conditioners and broadband Internet access.  Guests dining at the hotel restaurant can enjoy Shaanxi cuisine and local snacks.  Secretarial and other services are offered at the business center, and conference rooms are available. Recreational options here are somewhat slim, but guests can play chess, poker or enjoy fine Chinese teas in the tea house but with so much to see in China's ancient capital, there's always something to do.
