Evaluations of Hotel Pearl Inn & Suites
The constant sound of pigeons in the adjacent airwell was soothing at first, it became a problem only when I wanted to go to sleep...
Where to start... The hotel.info listing says each room has a desk, my room had none. I had to pull out the small refrigerator to eat on. The hotel,info listing said they offered complimentary airport shuttle (this was the only reason I chose this hotel) but they refused to honor this claim, and I had to ride an autorickshaw to the airport. None of the front desk staff were fluent in English, and I had great difficulty communicating with them. And finally, when I was ready to check out, their card reader wasn't working. They made their problem mine, by insisting that I go out and find an ATM to get cash to pay for my stay. I did in fact go out on foot, found two ATM's, neither of which were working. They finally forced me to go to two different OTHER hotels on the block to run my credit card in payment. Again, they made their problem (malfunctioning card reader) mine by insisting that I do all of the leg work to pay them. Altogether, this was an extremely unpleasant stay and I could not in good consience recommend this hotel to anyone.
