Evaluations of Hôtel Mercure Paris La Défense Grande Arche
Staff really pleasant
Room durty / carpet of an other age Noice from RER
Easy access by car / parking. Convenience of having a restaurant in the hotel
Quality of the room below the latest IBIS hotels for nearly double the price... Rooms equipment and content is average, with paintings and decoration that does not seem to be too old but nevertheless already not in good shape.
Big room, friendly staff who managed to change my reservation to a room in the main building (there is a second buiding I was not aware of) // small fitness room that you can use 24/h.Some restaurants in 2 minutes walking distance. Very close to the train station.
Noisy rooms but I was warned about it (the other building is supposed to be more quite but in worse standard)
clean
no
very clean, design, very friendly and professional staff, in the lobby, restaurant excellent and efficient staff for the breakfast, even when it is very early
parking is not easy to find
Good hotel to stay for a few nights but not for a longer stay. Offside Paris, ideal for meetings in la Defense or at EY
Beginning 6 a.m. you will be awake by metro noise
Reception staff very friendly // no other staff seen.
Lavabo plugged // rooms on 2nd floor (main building) badly soundproofed (Metro/RER did wake me up!!)
Avoid lower floors as there is a lot of noice from the underground train station
Close to RER
It seemed like I could feel the vibrations of the train every 5 minutes in bed. Didn't help much in sleeping. Price is rather high and breakfast not even included. Staff was not able to create the bill fast and not flexible in adding up the hotel ammounts.
I was in the 5th floor, but still could feel the trains from the underground!!
