Since the 13th century, hotel La Vecchia Cartiera used to be a manufacturing factory for high-quality paper. The ancient property situated in the town centre of Colle di Val d'Elsa has undergone an extensive renovation and was turned into a cosy hotel. The facade characterised by the harmonious arched windows is still reminiscent of the factory’s architecture from that time.
