The 'Hampshire Hotel – City Groningen' is situated in the city centre of Groningen. The major attractions such as the 'Groninger Museum” and the 'Martini Tower” are only a few minutes away, just like the most famous shopping street in Groningen, 'De Heerestraat”, as well as the 'Grote Markt” with its pubs and restaurants.
All 93 rooms have a private bathroom with bathtub and/or shower and toilet, hairdryer, flatscreen television with international channels, desk, telephone with laptop connection and safe. On request, we have an iron and board available. 2 rooms have bathroom facilities for disabled persons.
For relaxation, you can use our sauna and Turkish steam bath free of charge (private use, on reservation). You can also use our solarium (€ 7,50 per 20 minutes). To exercise, we offer compact cardio fitness.
A comprehensive breakfast is served every morning in the restaurant. Our contemporary hotel bar is open every day, where a variety of beers, wines and other drinks is served. We also provide several little snacks.
Owing to its unique location in the vivid heart of the city, there are many opportunities for lunch and dinner. Only a stone's throw away, you can choose from a variety of flavours from French, Cuban and Chinese to Tuscan cuisine.
