Evaluations of Hostel Przy Targu Rybnym
It was the cheapest room in a very crowded Gdansk due to Dominican Fair, and the hostel is located in the city center. The owner was very friendly but I found the young man who worked at night quite rude.
The room, under the roof (they call it ´´attic´´...) was the tiniest I've ever stayed. You could barely stand. Nothing but a bed and two chairs. Shared facilities consisted of a very tiny WC and a slightly bigger shower, both to be shared among 4 rooms.
Hostel is in walking distance from town center. Good wifi. Friendly staff although one lady did neither speak german nor english.
I am not sure how this hostel got three stars. The mattress was so old that I could feel each single steel spring through the cover. One shared toiled and shower for the whole floor (but that may be normal for a hostel). I could also hear each usage of the toilet and shower by other guests, as the room was not at all isolated.
