Evaluations of Holiday Inn MANCHESTER - WEST
The 24 hour menu has very limited items and some of them are not available when we place order. When we give feedback the hotel managers not even bothered to check with you what was the reason for the complain or feedback. The responsible and responsive hotel management is required which is missing.
very nice hotel
Clean and close to my next day business meeting.
Remote as not right in city centre if you want to enjoy a nice restaurant. A bit of a rough areas. No nice views from room and constant noise in room with corridor doors. Staff not really competent and not trying very hard to surpass themselves. Room service took longer than expected and on top of that staff had forgotten my drink and butter and came back 15mns after I had started my meal. Not my idea of a nice meal in room..
The staff were courteous and helpful when needed.
I had to pay for parking which did not see to be made very clear upon making the booking - Had I known I would have chosen somewhere closer to where I was staying on the basis that my group would also have had to pay for parking and taxis into Manchester. I had to pay £9.95 for breakfast despite the fact that I had only eaten scrambled egg on toast. Whilst I can't complain about the food it was not worth the £9.95 charged. There was no option to pay for a smaller meal. I was told that if I'd pre-booked then I may have been able to. When travelling on business it's difficult to know if I was going to be having breakfast. During my stay I was woken in the early hours of the morning several times by children running up and down the corridors. Whilst I called down to reception to complain for at least an hour afterwards the children still ran noisily up and down the corridor. Whilst the hotel looked new my room looked as though it had not been finished. The grout in the tiles in the bathroom was either badly finished or it was eroding away. The carpet was stained and lamps in the room did not work. I definitely won't be staying at the hotel again and will seriously consider using Holiday Inn again.
only 2 staff on to do everything. party meant an hour wait for food.
Nice staff, clean hotel
a little out of the way. £6 taxi ride to center
A very nice, clean and pleasant place to stay
Excellent stay. Walked into town centre within 25 minutes. Food fabulous (just had breakfast). Staff very friendly & attentive.
