A bit old and shabby. Gym lacks space and therefore machines. The staff is friendly but mislaid my room-service order. The check-out takes a lot of time (why is this so endemic: ´´ooooohhh all customers want to pay at the same time in the morning´´
Provided gluten free bread at breakfast
sofa bed was full of springs and unable to use. Requested an extra duvet to put on top of springs.Had to ask on two occasions. Disturbance in room above which kept me awake all night and I had an 8 hour drive next morning. Reception were called on numerous occasions and were getting annoyed with complaints. Things quietened down after police were called eventually and couple were arrested.On checking out next morning I requested a complaints form which was not given. I was told that it was not Holiday Inns fault. No discount was offered despite the fact that I had no sleep.They did not seem to care. I would suggest that if you want a good nights sleep stay in Premier Inn.
We had no issues with the cancelation of the one night. All employees tried t ohelp where possible.
No service for breakfast, all tables were left in the condition they were once the guest finishe and the next had to move the plates and rest of what was left over. Information at the reception rgarding price of the breakfast: 10 UKP. When we wanted to join we were told to pay 15 UKP. When we asked why there is a difference they told us, that the 10 UKP would only be applicable while buying a voucher --> information was unsufficient. We also had to give our credit card information as no service was able to be delivered against the roo itself. Obviously they made some bad experience with guests not paying. I wanted to buy one hour internet access but the system to pay with was not up and running.
this hotel was exceptionally good, the staff were very polite, courtious & professional.
Our stay was excellent - the staff made us feel welcome and the efficiency of bar, restaurant and room cleaning was excellent. Highly recommend
