Evaluations of Holiday Inn GENT - EXPO
Breakfast reasonably good Good lobby bar with friendly staff Free and easy Wifi at all locations I received discount after complaining about uncontrollable room temperature
The room temperature control did not work, it was way too hot (October) I could not sleep. The window was locked shut. Staff advised that the cooling was switched off centrally when not summer time, but acknowledged this to be a common problem/complaint. I was transferred to another room with unlocked outside window, temperature was good with the window open but I received >20 mosquito bites Car park is expensive
Quite place, good if you travel by car
Too isolated, you need a taxi to move
Staff very friendly and help, good bar area, evening meal was good, but breakfast could be improved.
I had a room with an adjoining room, the noise from this adjoining room was terrible and woke me up at 12:30.
The hotel is very convenient to the office.
The rooms are very out of date. I have holes in the wall and no power outlets near the bed. As far as I could tell, there was only one power outlet in the entire room at the desk. Very inconvenient. The temperature of the room was miserable because the unit was only blowing cold air and would not even reach a temperature of 20. Sunday night, I understand is slow, but for international travelers, the lack of food options is pretty inconvenient. Again, the entire place is looking run down and should be remodeled.
It is close to our office, rooms are nice & clean // Shanon & Lian (hope the spelling is right) at the reception were very helpful.
No Global channels on TV // one lady at the reception was very rude when asked for information // breakfast options never change, if we stay for more than 3 days, it becomes impossible to eat the same thing again & again. Over all, food options for all meals should increase & also, consider vegetarians & non-red meat eaters.
clean staff in restaurant very nice
TV broken, little fridge broken, wi-fi got disconnected after few minutes (reception staff told me it was because a lot of people is currently connected). Weak water stream in shower, no proper ironing board to iron a shirt, very poor cleansers (just whole-body shampoo). Everything fixed to wall - hangers, soap,... (I feel like they think I want to steal some hanger or what). Absolutely not worth the money.
Close to Esko HQ
Very close to the tram station. A quick walk to old chapel.
Not much around the hotel for dining option other than IKEA.
Close to where we work. Rooms are clean & noise free.
Same cuisine at breakfast every day. Bed sheets dont get changed even once in five days.
Over all a very nice experience.
