Some strange sound in the room can not be muted.
Good location, right next to Oxford Road train station. Clean, basic accommodation, comfortable beds, free wifi and breakfast included- perfect for if you just need a place to sleep and keep your stuff.
A bit noisy in the evenings Friday/ Saturday, since right on Oxford Road.
Clean and tidy. Large room. Good location. Helpful staff
Blocked shower. Not enough hangers / places for clothes
clean, modern spacious room, even with a 2nd double. Bathroom spotless. breakfast plenty of choice and hot!
Tried to make me pay more than stated on the booking form! Apparently Hotel info.com should have charged more for a third person! NOT my problem!
We found the hotel spotlessly clean and staff where very friendly and helpful..ie..booking us taxi's etc, getting information for us. Even though we encountered a few problems we would stay again and recommend to friends if they needed to stay in Manchester.
We experienced difficulties in using the lift with the card,as did quite a few other guests..we did end up walking up 5/6 flights of stairs to reach our room on more than one occasion as we could not get the card to work the lift properly. I booked a twin room, but found we had a double bed and a bed sofa..there where no other rooms available so we had to have that made up..which was very uncomfortable to sleep on. Our shower cubicle did not drain very well and at one poiont we had to call someone to come sort it for us as we where unable to shower as the water was up to the edge of the tray and was going nowhere. It was sort of fixed, still didn't drain very well. We also had a problem with the toilet's flushing system,it just wouldn't stop flushing and we where unable to get it fixed and could not use it ...luckily we checked out an hour or so after, but it was still an inconvienience.
Couldn't fault a thing - Very impressed
Everything was wonderful! The beds were very good and big, and the choice of firm and soft pillows just surprised us!! Nice decoration, plenty of space and a big TV. We will definately come back to your hotel whenever we visit Manchester again! Excellent location!!
The only noise in the room was really the a/c. For as long as we had it on it kept making a strange, loud noise every 15 minutes or so, or whenever it was going on again. We had to turn it off completely in order to be able to sleep at night. But not a big deal really, because the room was sufficiently warm even without the a/c.
Excellent value. The staff went out of their way to be helpful.
