Evaluations of Holiday Inn Express LOS ANGELES - LAX AIRPORT
Outlets in room did not work on three of three lamps, room was noisy, fan/heater was noisy, shuttle only every 30 minutes to airport.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was very good and included hot food. Room was spotlessly clean and very quiet.
No micro wave or refridgerator in room
Iron did not work properly. Was difficult to use as it was directly attached to the ironing board.
Easy go with airport shuttle. I just slept one night and then I fly away.
Close to the airport.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The room smelled terribly when I first got in there. The staff was pretty friendly but I was given conflicting information about being able to check in. I was told my room would be ready for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes I went to check in and they told me not for another hour. So I waited in the hotel lobby and wasted 30 minutes. Doubtful about the safety in the area.
We went to this hotel for an overnight stay for our early morning flight the next day. Wa good for that reason. There is a 711 store next door and a few good diners too....
Too secluded from any activity.
The hotel is what you would expect from a transit hotel. Everything is there such as free internet, good bed etc. And it is fairly close to the airport, but not so close you can hear the planes. Furthermore the hotel car park is a plus, although it is not locked or guarded.
The busy traffic out front can be heard very well inside the room. The choices of breakfast are not extensive and it is eaten from plastic plates and with plastic cups, forks and knives. Hotel is bit shabby and worn around the edges, although it looks clean. The surroundings are not inspiring (vacant lot across the road)
