Evaluations of Holiday Inn Express BOSTON
A good basic hotel.
Although they do provide a shuttle the hotel was a little bit of a walk to mass-transit. I would not want to be walking to/from mass-transit at night.
under construction made access more difficult
Room was fairly good but external construction was noticeable. Price was definitely too high for quality offered.
Outside of building looks poor. Rooms are a bit small. Ok for short stays (a couple of nights). Room had a bit of odor
Friendly staff, well equipped room, cleanliness fine, nice breakfast. Not close to central Boston, but grocery and dining options are within walking distance.
Breakfast was excellent
Breakfast starts from 7:00am only, should be 6:00am. 12% Tax comes additionally.
Very nice hotel, excellent staff and good buffet style breakfasts plus tea/coffee/hot chocolate available 24 hours.
Better lighting between hotel and shopping precinct would make it feel safer during evenings. Approach route to subway not very appetising (lots of litter and weeds and general feeling of neglect to the whole area).
Two subway stops from the city center: very convenient
a little bit noisy
For value for money and a bed to sleep in, a bathroom to wash in and a roof over your head in Boston, I doubt you'd find better elsewhere in Boston at the price charged. Would recommend on this basis.
Not a negative per se, but the hotel is a fairly non descript block sandwiched between an expressway and a shopping centre, with little of interest in the area.
We were delighted with the hotel, which was everything we could have wished for and would certainly go back next time we are in Boston.
