Evaluations of Holiday Inn CHARLOTTE UNIVERSITY
Shuttle to office available. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Decor a bit dated.
Location was great,
issue with room key not working, i had to make to trip down stairs to get into my room
the location, friendly people
long strings of hair in tub, ive stayed there three times and every time we had to evalcuate the building for fire alarm, getting old walking down them stairs
close to corporate office, front desk staff tried hard to please.
Dirty room - dust on light fixtures, dust/dirt on floor by nightstand, hairs in bed from previous guest. Shower smelled like mildew
The front desk is very courteous and helpful.
The upkeep of the hotel starts at fair at best and never gets higher than that. I saw a tray of beverages sitting on a table by the elevators that was not picked up for a day. Empty pizza boxes left outside rooms are not picked up. Where was housekeeping for that? The fitness center has treadmills, stationary bikes and what they call a weight area. The hotel restaurant looked deserted at peak times, so that might be an indication of the food. The internet is slow. This was my second time staying there in October and I am not going back. The hotel has a run down feeling.
