Evaluations of HOTEL AURA SFO AIRPORT
Were pleasantly (and unpleasantly - read below) surprised by the quality of the hotel. Everything was quite clean, and room was quite large. Good quality bath accessories (shampoo, conditioner, soap) were provided. Staff was friendly and responsive.
There are two problems with the hotel: The one was in my room and is fixable - air conditioner was making weird clicking sounds even it was not turned on. Had to disconnect the cord, otherwise I could not sleep. However if it is cold outside and you have to run heater it would be difficult for me to cope with the sound. Second problem is the location - entrance to the underground garage is inconvenient and garage itself is quite small for bigger size cars/SUVs - you'd have to spend good amount of time to squeeze your car in the parking place. Also, if parking is full you have to look around the neighborhood for the parking place and it won't be easy. Also, if you decide to pick the hotel because of closeness to SFO you should know that it would take drive down all the way till Milbrae Ave to cross over US101 and get to SFO - it might take 15 minutes. second - location.
Very good value for price. Big room.
No fitness center or spa area. The breakfast could have had more choice.
No complaints at all.
It was near by airport, and the stuttleservice was ok and free :)
The bathroom was very bad, because of the water running all over the floor.
Good price/perf ratio. Close to SFO Airport. Fridge & Microwave in most (if not all) rooms.
Conveniently located near the airport
Bath towels are too small
