Evaluations of Hilton Garden Inn Hoffman Estates
Friendly hotel staff
My room was close to central air condition building, therefore room was not quiet.
Good size rooms, rooms are clean, comfortable, furniture is in good conditions, common areas are clean and modern.
Outside needs some facelifting
Close to EDC plant, good breakfast.
Shortage of towels and soap, not much hot water. Walls thin.
rooms are clean and the shower is good. Breakfast is good although service was slow.
Tried to check in early and the front desk clerk did not make any effort to make it work...Just told me to come back later. Asked for a toiletry item(toothbrush) as mine was broken due to handling on the airplane and was told ´´they're $2 and they're in there´´ pointing to the gift shop area. really poor attitude in comparison to most Hilton Properties. Even though we have a local rate with this property, I would most likely spend more money and stay at the Marriott in Hoffman Estates next time.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Very friendly staff
Windows just have single glass isolation, no double glass. In winter it gets cold if the curtain is not closed
Breakfast was fine.
There was mold in the shower grout and holes in the office chair.
Overall presents well with everything you would expect from Hilton Garden in reference to what the property had. Easy to get to where you need to go with location being very good.
First time I ever had to write anything negative about a Hilton property and it is due to cleaning did a very poor job of cleaning bathroom. Also, Some type of fire occured as hallway was smoke filled and I was in shower when alarm went off, I would have thought that someone would have called or knocked on door as you could not hear alarm in shower. Some of staff was friendly, but some seemed to have attitude that you were bothering them. Work on the attitude of staff and cleaning crew and hotel would be a real winner and would outscore compared to other hotels in area I stayed at.
Staff was very friendly
Breakfast and restaurant area very expensive ($11 for breakfast). WIFI was poor in the room and the lobby.
