Positive Excellent central location in the middle of Manhattan, just round the corner from the Empire State Building; convenient for all public transport. Negative No catering facilities except tea and coffee in the lobby but plenty of places close by for all meals and snacks. The hotel is not smart or fashionable and there are few extras but the staff are helpful.

Positive Had a great stay at Herald Square Hotel over thanksgiving 2008. The room was basic but hey you're in New York how much time do you need to spend in the room. There was a massive TV which I must admit we didnt even turn on. The room was really clean, could Negative The only negative I would say, and this is only a tiny thing, is that the rooms werent very sound proof. We could hear the film the people in the next room were watching at night and the traffic outside was very noisy, and the radiator also made some funn
