Evaluations of GZ-Apparthotel
Nothing, bad service and filthy! When we arrived at 4 o'clock there should be a receptionist, both phone Numbers on the window were not reachable.
It was a shamefull apperance. I did not stay here for the night. The hole hotel was very filthy and there was noodhulp when I wanten to check in. After several calls we finaly reached a formeer employee who gave us a phonenumber. This person gave me a entrancecode on the phone. When I went to my room it was so dirty that I didn't think one second of leasing here and never come back. It toke me several Horus to find another hotel but anything beter than this shamefull hotel.
Good location, lots of local culture, retaurants, and things to do. Parking available next to hotel (must pay for parking).
No wireless. No phone. No hair dryer. Lots of exterior noise due to traffic and pedestrian traffic. Extrior door not locked - pedestrians can enter at any time. Staff only available by phone most of the time.
Friendly & competent staff, centrally situated, great price/performance ratio.
Good sized room with decent bathroom, very close to west bahnhof - easy to get to different places or about a 15-20min walk to the main shopping areas (schildergasse/hohe strasse)
Poor apartment kitchen facilities - no pans or pots to cook with, no kettle, toaster etc. Only thing we had was 2 plates, 2 glasses and cutlery. Shower stained, room door difficult to open - staff not very willing to assist, some of the wooden slats under bed broken, floor not cleaned under bed
This hotel was very clean and, as a small apartment, reasonably well equipped. It is in a good location, very close to the metro and not too far from the centre of the city should you want to walk it (about 20 minutes). There are good supermarkets within a few yards and there are good restaurants (Indian and Pizza) nearby. Not a bad place for the price - good value.
If it was in the small print, we missed it - but we were a little taken aback to be asked to pay for the room up-front and in cash, cards were not accepted. The staff offered an air of disinterested grumpiness which I don't supposed was helped by our lack of ability with the language, but they did not seem very approachable. The idea of a small apartment was good but the range of cooking utensils was very limited and if it's your intention to completely self catered, the kitchen may be a little lacking in the tools available. The beds were firm and comfortable but the quilts were very thin and we needed the heating up high (it was very efficient) which brought with it a bit of a noise problem.
They waited for my arrival very late in the evening (which is not trivial because it is an aparthotel, and NOT an hotel)
The description of the hotel was only in German, so that it was not informative at all for me. The access to the rooms is by means of a numerical code. Unfortunately (of course by chance) the guy at the reception went away with my codes, so that I became a prisoner of my room since the day after. Also, I asked several times it there was drinkable water in the room, and they said yes, but it was not so. The price of 99 euro found on internet is not acceptable in my view for this aparthotel.
This is a really great hotel at that price. Weiter so...
Hotel manager is somewhat good. Having flexible & friendly attitude
No attendant after 7 PM. So after 7 PM its very discomfortable to stay there. and if you are alone u dont have anything to do other than stay in the room. very tough to stay alone in this Hotel.
