Evaluations of Greenville The Westin Poinsett
It's very nice and central location.
The rooms are smaller and the historic building has upsides and downsides
Always love the Westin Poinsett. Beautifully and centrally located and great hospitality.
great location, easy parking and checkin. Liked the option of a coffee shop for fast and simple breakfast in the morning.
breakfast buffet option is expensive
vicinity to downtown
The location permits for easy access to downtown amenities.
The hotel requires updates especially regarding the room furniture and the bathrooms and does not meet the standards of hotels with a similar star rating.
If you arrive on the weekend, be prepared for traffic. Deck parking is behind the hotel. If you have an SUV or Pick-Up Truck that may not clear the 7 ft mark, park on the first level near the garage exit. Be sure to let the hotel desk clerk know that you parked in their garage so you can have your hotel key card marked and scanned. Also, given by past reviews, ask for a corner room on the top floor away from the elevators. Plenty of good restaurants outside the hotel.
It was an all around nice experience.
Hotel staff were very friendly. They assisted me in faxing and scanning documents.
My room was next to the ice maker and at times I could hear the machine.
well maintained hotel with friendly competent staff.
significant amount of hallway noise that the door did not block out. Room to room noise was virtually non-existent, outside noise also non-existent.
The location is great for downtown Greenville. The hotel is older & my room smelled old. The fitness center is great.
The breakfast is expensive. The Wi-Fi is slow. Parking is additional.
