Evaluations of Grand Hotel
Receptionist was helpful. Location is ok.
room was smelly, maybe it was beacuse the hotel was in revision at the time, but there was a smell that comes out from the bath, which was very disappointing for me.
I stayed for two nights , the first thing I notice was the toilet seat was broken and then the shower head was broken also. The room was very hot without AC or a fan. The hotel was right on the street which made it every noisy with all the traffic. There were a few bugs in the bath room to. The shower leaked water from the door.
nothing postive i could find.
Hotel was not even close to any star rating. It was mentioned a single star on the site hotel.info. There were absolutely no services. 1.It was mentioned breakfast is avalable on chargeable basis but there was no such service and no phone in the room. There was no kitchen/service even to warm milk for the child. 2.Rooms were very small and stinky. There was hardly any space to move. 3.Radiator was not heating properly,we had a very cold nights especially with a small child with us. 4.We were given 4th floor initially and we were told to lift our luggage to 4th floor with a small kid.Later on lot of request 2nd floor was given. 5.Staff was non-cooperative and unfriendly.I had to personally lift my baggage to 2nd floor. There was no elevator. 6.I am not happy and would discourage my friends and relatives to use hotel.info.com site to book hotels. It was totally unexpected of standards on hotel.info. It was a waste of money for this hotel for my once in lifetime visit to paris.
free internet wireless, fair location and price
very noisy room, I paid for an extra bed for one night but they did not put the bed in the room, so at 2 in the morning I was searching for a bed, and they gave me some blankets for my friend to sleep on the floor
Friendly and helpful staff
Renovation under way - no bar or breakfast facilities.
thanks for eve
Very pleasant staff, they always helped us when we needed. The hotel is also very tidy. We had a room with a shower and a toilette and the hair-dryer was there for free use. The location of the hotel is very good - about 10 minutes from Metro, cca 40 minutes walking from Arc de Trioumphe and Sacre Coeur. People living in the quarter are really nice, we had absolutely no problems. Everyone speaks English as well.
I understood from the description of the hotel parking was available nearby. I am travelling with a wheelchair-bound companion and MUST have access to parking. When I arrived there was NO WHERE to park near the hotel, or within several blocks of the hotel. I could therefore park to GET to the hotel with my companion. I had to abandon the booking and look elsewhere. This is a most unstaisfactory outcome and I have received no response to my several complaints to travelres.com regarding this booking. Very, very unstaisfied customer.
Hotel is very dirty, not fit to be stayed in at all. I checked out of the hotel in 1 night.
There are none
This hotel has ben the source of serious complaint from me to yourselves (and which you seem not to be acknowledging, as manifest in this call for an ´´evaluation´´). However, I will restate in this format by saying that the hotel's actual circumstances bore no relationship to the presentation - visually and verbally - of it on your interactive website // It was dirty (used razors, dirty ashtrays and dirty sheets, and did not have floor access to a shower (I did not find one on the floor that I was on) let alone have one in the room as was advertised. Anyway, enough as I am probably wasting my time and have been categorised as a ´´mad guest´´. I have said all this and more in another forum you provide. THE FACT THAT I AM NOT BEING LISTENED TO IS EVIDENT IN THE FACT THAT I ONLY STAYED ONE NIGHT (paying 35€). The hotel could not object as it was amply aware that what it provided and what were advertised were 2 different things.
