The Danubius Hotel Astoria is situated in the heart of Budapest. The Astoria metro station is close by and just minutes away from the famous pedestrian shopping street, Váci utca, the Great Market Hall, the Hungarian National Museum, the Basilica, the Synagogue, the Parliament, the Hungarian Opera House, Gellért Thermal Baths, the Castle Hill and much more.
Opened in 1914, it was named after the world-famous Waldorf Astoria in New York and had an overall reconstruction in 2006 meeting the requirements and demands of the modern age, while preserving the hotel’s unique grace.
Hotel Astoria features the traditional, yet trendy Mirror Café & Restaurant. It serves excellent Hungarian delicacies as well as inventive dishes, combining Eastern and Western flavors. Guests can select from a variety of fine Hungarian wines, desserts and coffee specialties in this typical turn-of-the-century Budapest café Our Mirror Cafe & Restaurant serve our guests every day from 7 am until 11 pm.
