The hotel was very nice and very clean; price was reasonable for DC -- the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. It was also very convenient to the Washington DC office.

The noise coming from the hotel itself (TV ...) is rather low (good!) but the noise from "outside" is clearly hearable during the night (big fans from neibouring building traffic ...). But I have already slept in hotels being definitely louder!

Noise from the street.
Overall good location downtown. Plenty of family friendly restaurants within a few blocks. Metro Station only 1 block away (bonus). Very helpful and friendly staff. Very good breakfast in the lobby restaurant (remember to tell them you are a Priority Club Member and get 50% off the breakfast bill). I would stat there again.
Hotel charges $33 US a day for parking which is outrageous! There is a Fire House around the block so expect to hear plenty of sirens throughout the night. Franklin Park across the street is filled with bums which is an eye sore but we were never hassled by any of them. Small Elevators but never had to wait very long. Concierge service could be better.

This is a fabulous hotel - should be a 5 star. It's close proximity to the Metro is a HUGE plus.
