Evaluations of Crowne Plaza AMSTERDAM - SOUTH
Very comfortable spacious room close to the business district Friendly staff Good drinks at the bar
A little bit confusing the breakfast, the warm meals are in one side and the cold meals, bread and drinks on another side, not easily visible from the entrance and certain tables.
Excellent room, bathroom. Clean. Comfortable sleep. No noise. Perfect. Fast WiFi. Window/door that opens to a balcony. Clean. Breakfast was very good. A very wide range of selections. Dutch, omelettes, cereals, breads, cold meats, cheese, cold fish, bacon, veg, and East Asian. Even gluten free wheat.
The nearest supermarket is Albert Kreijn about 350M away. The bar restaurant is mixed. The weekly special was miniscule, and not cheap. The pasta based meals were fine. Therefore order the pasta.
Location was perfect for RAI. Staff was very nice and helpful.
Price was absurd. Even in Trade Fair time. And it didn't include breakfast!!!
WiFi was awful.
It's very disappointing that the hotel, when it's half empty, charges € 15 to have an extra hour before checkout.
Everything was great expect the distance from the downtown.
One of the best rooms I ever had and I'm coninously staying in various hotels in Europe.
Wifi not for free, no sauna
